Community Information Session to discuss the proposed future use of the 1077 Bribie Island Road Site
Ningi residents and locals are invited to attend a community information session outlining Moreton Bay Regional Council’s intended use and future opportunities for the old prawn farm at 1077 Bribie Island Road, Ningi.
Councillor for Division 1 Brooke Savige said the drop-in Session would be held on Wednesday 22 May between 6pm and 8pm at the Ningi Community Hall.
“Residents are welcome to drop-in any time between 6pm and 8pm to speak with me and Council staff about the site and ask questions,” she said.
“I hope to see as many locals as possible at this meeting, so you can see the aerial imagery of the site at 1077 Bribie Island Road, which was previously used as a commercial prawn farm.”
Cr Savige said Council has purchased land in Ningi as part of a long-term management strategy for dredged material from Bribie Island’s canal estates.
Ningi Community Hall is situated on the outskirts of Theo Green Park.
