We’re going on a picnic, leaving right away! To Pine Rivers Park, for a fun-filled event this Friday.

Moreton Bay Regional Council’s popular Teddy Bears’ Picnic is back, featuring two stages of entertainment, rides, market stalls, children’s activities, delicious food and more.

Mayor Peter Flannery encouraged families to make a morning out of this free event.

“Bring your favourite teddy bear down to Pine Rivers Park for a fun-filled morning of free entertainment, amusement rides, craft activities and more,” he said.

“Come say hi to your favourite furry friends at our animal farm, or let your children’s creativity shine at our new games area with sensory play activities.

“There’ll also be feature performances by The Mad Scientist Mayhem Show, The Mini Moshers, Red Rocket 3, Kaboodle the Clown and Council’s First Five Forever team.

“With a COVID Safe plan in place, we’ll make sure everyone stays safe with hygiene stations set up and social distancing measures in place.

“It’s shaping up to be a mammoth morning of fun for families, and I’m excited to see our community come together to support local events in Moreton Bay.”

The event will run from 8:30am – 11:30am on Friday, 6 November at Pine Rivers Park, Gympie Road, Strathpine.
