It’s the biggest news in kids’ music since Emma joined the Wiggles – Council has created a music concert just for kids aged under five!
The Mini Music & Arts Festival for under-5s is a free event coming to Crockatt Park in Woody Point on April 22 from 9am–1pm.
Mayor Peter Flannery said your children will be smiling from ear to ear with a huge array of creative activities to participate in, and a line-up of A-list performers set to entertain.
“I’m not allowed to talk about this event at home because my daughter just turned six, but I’m a big believer in the importance of these kinds of family events for locals especially littlies,” Mayor Flannery said.
“Australian musician and entertainer Linsey Pollak might not be a household name but parents will know he’s a big deal when it comes to children’s entertainment.
“He’ll be joined by the energetic DJ Micki, the intergalactic Red Rocket 3 and many more performers set to light up the stage.
“Young Picasso’s and Piccass-ettes will have plenty of options to explore their creative flare at the hands-on craft zone.
“There’s even a sports zone to wear them out after being stimulated by the free amusement rides on offer.
“Parents we haven’t forgotten about you either – there will be plenty of food options and market stalls.”
Free car parking will be available around the venue.
This event has a limited capacity and will follow a COVID Safe Event Plan.
All attendees will be required to register upon arrival using our QR code check-in and follow all safety requirements as directed by event staff.
